During the journey, a Count discovers that a young, progressive ministry clerk has been exiled due to a past "incident." Meanwhile, a General learns of the wedding of one of his lower-ranking employees and decides to crash the party in a pseudo-humanitarian impulse; however, his awkward presence creates deep discomfort and causes the celebration to degenerate into complete disaster.
