Episode 2

Just right after Holly became a trainee, she couldn’t help but felt annoyed when stereotypes among gender happened so frequently in her daily life. Before the lecture ended, the designer added: “If I failed to trigger sex fantasies with my stewardess uniform, that’ll be my failure.” That’s also one of the reasons that Holly and the trainees’ uniform is 15cm above their knee, as the result of a new airline opponent who promoted bikini stewardess in order to stimulate tickets sales. Throughout their training, all trainees had accepted the fact that stewardess is equalized to sexiness. But Holly refused to—she doubt herself for making a huge mistake. She wanted to give up. Meanwhile, Meng Lian got injured during a karate trial and was forced to retire from the national team. She was introduced to work in a community health center, taking care of sports equipment. She felt depressed knowing that she couldn’t be a karate player anymore.

A tomboy baker, Chuan, came in, and she was amazed to Meng Lian’s explosive boxing movement. It’s finally Holly’s first flight experience being officially a stewardess. “I thought you were the well-known tomboy bartender in our bar!” The ex-colleagues from the bar took the same flight, started to make fun of the old time tomboy bartender. Holly felt overwhelmed. Meng Lian invited her to join MMA sometimes, in order to release stresses. Even Holly’s parents joined her colleagues, teasing her around: “Our famous tomboy bartender has become someone trying to cover her butt with a stewardess uniform.” Listening to the jokes, Holly is praying hard that one day she could replace entire stewardess outfit with a handsome steward uniform.
